Finding a bit of time here and there during the summer to work on personal projects. Here’s the knight at this point with a simple shader and pose.
Added a few more details with a pose change, not sure if I’ll keep the pose though. Still needs texture work and also debating whether to go with solid hair or attempt something with fibermesh in zBrush.

Free lancer almost fully blocked in. Time for some detailing, hair and texture work.
Blocked in some armour in zbrush the other night. Test render in Mental Ray.
1.5 hour polypaint using the Spotlight feature in zbrush. Decimated and re-exported the mesh as seen in my previous post without the moustache and sideburns that I had sculpted in separate layers and rendered in Mental Ray for Maya. Hair and perhaps some clothing and adornments to come sometime down the road when I can find the time.
